2018The 2018 annual conference of the International Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management (ICAHM) took place in Sicily, in Montalbano Elicona, from 25 to 28 October 2018. The theme of the meeting was "A holistic approach to heritage management". Ellinor Dunning presented the Archaeological Salons project in the session on community engagement. The presentation received an extremely positive response, which was reflected in the many discussions held during the event with various participants.
Cynthia Dunning Thierstein, accompanied by Ajmal Hasan Mohamed, presented a lecture on tourism and archaeology in Mleiha (Sharjah, UAE) "Spending a wonderful day in Mleiha! Bringing tourists to Archaeology while having fun".
