Conference Intermediary review of the Forum HORIZONS 2015 in Basel (Switzerland)


Following the ideas competition on "Supraregional Archaeological Research and Collaboration" initiated by HORIZONS 2015 (H2015), an interim assessment of the themes of importance for the future of Swiss archaeology was presented in January 2013 in Bern. In the context of the theme "Archaeology and Society", Cynthia Dunning Thierstein, together with Isabelle Hefti and Karine Meylan, presented the results of the working group on "Public and Communication". She also explained the project on archaeological archiving standards in Switzerland and Europe (ARCHES).
