Overview of mediation actions in archaeology and their possible application by the Valais Cantonal Office of Archaeology

Within the framework of the networking of mediation activities and the promotion of archaeology decided by the Valais government, this report aimed to propose innovative and adapted measures to promote the work of the Valais Cantonal Office of Archaeology (OCA) in all phases of archaeological intervention and on the scale of the whole canton. The aim was to define the state of the art of mediation in Switzerland and elsewhere, and then to propose original scientific enhancement measures specific to the characteristics of the Valaisan archaeological heritage.
