ArchaeoConcept was responsible for the follow-up and translation of the book ""Par monts et par Vaux. Sites fortifiés du Valais au fil du temps"" which was published at the same time as the exhibition "Là-haut. Da oben. Fortified sites in Valais, from Prehistory to the present day". This publication presents an overview of the fortified sites in the Valais from the Neolithic period to the Second World War. It brings together the texts of regional specialists of each period, while being accessible to all. This book invites you to visit the sites in order to better understand the alpine defensive situation in the Valais. Written under the direction of Aurélia Basterrechea, Caroline Brunetti and Romain Andenmatten. With a preface by Viola Amherd, Federal Councillor, Head of the Federal Department of Defence, and Germaine Seewer, Commander of the Army's higher education system.
