2016The annual ICAHM-ICOMOS conference in Salalah (Sultanate of Oman) took place from 2 to 5 May 2016. The main theme was Archaeological Park as World Heritage Site - A Management Strategy for the Future. Within this framework, Cynthia Dunning Thierstein and Peter Jackson (architect from the personal office of the Sheikh of Sharjah) presented the draft nomination for the UNESCO World Heritage List of the Mleiha region (UAE). During this general assembly, the ICAHM committee decided to draft guidelines for the management of archaeological parks. ArchaeoConcept has been very involved in the development of this document.
