Workshop on Rescue Archaeology in the Emirate of Sharjah (United Arab Emirates)

As part of the implementation of the management plan accompanying the UNESCO nomination file "Sharjah, the Gateway to the Trucial States", ArchaeoConcept organized a workshop on rescue archaeology. This workshop enabled local actors to recognize the development opportunities represented by the establishment of a system of preventive archaeological excavations, as well as the weaknesses inherent in the complex heritage protection management system, which was then shared between different services.
